Apparently Atlas built this machine with VERY tight tolerances, as a tiny bit of rust literally froze the parts tight. After a few gallons of Evaporust and some gentle persuasion, everything came apart and the rebuild began. All-in-all the mill was in pretty good shape, with only 4 gears needing replacement, which were available on EBay.

The motor pulley on the MFB and MFC is a 10-428. This has a 5/8" ID hub. The 5/8"X1/2" reducing bushing is a commercial part and has no Atlas number. The same pulley but with 1/2" ID is 9-428. The OD's of the two pulley grooves are 4.390" and 1.930". Center-to-center distance between the two grooves is 0.625".

The MFB had that cast cutter guard (M1-22) overarm was further supported by another set of M6-45 clamping devices in the outboard part of that cast guard. These are pretty rare. The deal is that the overarm support to the milling arbor was different (M1-8) . The newer MFC dispenced with the cutter guard and used M1-60 arbor support.
